Default DTO Garage on Vbull 3.8.4

I downloaded and installed the free DTO Garage posted on VBull site shown here DTO Garage - free garage features for all your members (vB 3.8.X) - vBulletin.org Forum

Everything is fine so far accept for one thing, my test created garage shows up when I click the link to it while NOT logged in to the site....

I am running a very closed invite only site and need to know to keep a created garage viewable to logged in members only.

what is showing is the garage with login boxes at the top of the page, so it is showing me my garage without me being logged in. How can I make the garage ONLY show to members logged in???

Thnx for your help, frosti

Garage and Garage plus are designed with the end result to be viewable by all, logged in or not.

Rats, there's not a simple php code I can add to one of the templates or somewhere that will make it only show to logged in members? I sure would like to keep it inside my site.

Given that I'm in the mountain time zone I didn't have a chance to respond before you posted to vb.org so I'll reply there as well. To answer your question there is some code to do this. You just need to edit the dto_garage.php and look for the last use of require_once near the top of the file. Immediately after that paste in the following:

PHP Code:
if(!$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'])

print_no_permission();
save the file. Now if anyone that isn't logged in tries to access any of the functions supported in this file you will get a message and login prompt.

In our Garage Plus product we offer the option for the site member to determine if each of his garages is private (meaning no one can view it), public (everyone including visitors), or just friends in his buddy list can view his garage. Based on the setting it will determine whether or not its displayed in the index of garages, garage drop downs displayed in posts, etc.

THNX TONS Mark... I appreciate that very much and I'll just bet a couple others would adopt that as well....

I am infact liking the options in the PLUS which will not be a problem for me to spring for soon, I just want to see how the members take to the basic version first and then I trust I will upgrade after that....

thnx again
