Hello Guys,

First of all, all the best wishes for 2010! Secondly, I want to decide if i am going to use the current version of DTO Showcase, or to wait for a new version. I want to give my users option of showing their models, but the translation of this mod is going to take some time.

I want to decide if i'm going to spend my time to this version or to a next version... Is there any news on the coding-front?

Robert

Robert,
I would recommend going with version 1.2 (the one I've been working on) as it will phrasing which will work better for your customers. I got tied up over the holidays with a server move for a client and family but I have have ShowCase 1.2 at a version I would be comfortable releasing to you. I'll need to get it packaged and a document put together describing how to about phrasing. If all goes well with the server move I'm working on today I will get this document put together tomorrow and a package to you by midweek.

If for some reason the server move I'm working on doesn't go well I'll update this thread. That said I know you and one other of our european customers needs this release for language support so I plan to make the 1.2 release to you both only. The next release 1.3 will include all the items in 1.2 as well as support for vBulletin 4.0.

Thanks for your patience!

Mark

Scott,
Since yours is an english speaking site is there a need for the fully phrased support other than just customizing your site further?

Thanks

Mark

Fully phrased, not sure. Just need the ability to change the word "ShowCase" to "Journals". Would that be considered fully phrased?

You can do this type of change with the current version. Let us know where you want to change this and we'll give you information on which templates to edit to support this change.

Also, feel free to open a ticket and Nathan can assist with the changes as well.

Thanks!

Mark

Currently we are setting up the model with some key-users, also translation is in progress. I hope to show the result soon!
