Thanks for your feedback. Obviously we don't have map support in ShowCase at this time. That said there are several ways that this can be supported. The first would be to configure two decimal attribute types for a showcase type. These fields would represent a latitude and longitude for a given location. The problem with this is that the user entering the data would need to know these values to display a point on a map.
The second would be to provide several fields to capture an address and from that derive a lat/lon from that information.
However this information is captured it needs to be rendered. We have the ability, via a consulting engagement, to create custom showcase type displays. Using this method we could take either the lat/lon or address information and display the information on a map that is part of a showcase display.
As for the multiple windows that is currently by intent. Ideally you would have a "index" page that displays a list of showcases. That said the issue of having multiple showcase types on a given site clouds the point of what would be displayed if you returned to a centralized "index" for showcases. To date we've not collected enough feedback from customers of how they would really like this change and to gracefully handle multiple showcase types on a site. As we gain that information the product I fully expect that you will see the product evolve and improve.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Best regards,
Mark
