Image captions. - Drive Thru Online - Support

I want to refer to this page Motoring Alliance :: MINI Cooper Forums - Browse New ShowCases

This is the "Home" screen within Showcase on this particular site. I see a very limited caption under each picture. Is the caption customizable? Can we point 2 or 3 different specific fields filled in by the end user to be used as the caption?

Example:

Make: Chevy
Model: Nova
Year: 1966

At this time multiple fields are not supported in the manner you suggest. We are currently laying out all the requests both internally and from our clients in preperation for an update to ShowCase. I shall add this to the wish list.

To go a little deeper. Currently ShowCase picks up the name the user provides and displays that as the caption you see. The data you show above would be part of a component/atribute created by the admin for each ShowCase type desired. We would need to devise a method where during inital configuration the admin could designate what additional fields are using in the caption.

The site you mention is one I run. I'd be happy to schedule a live demo on the site and show you the various features of ShowCase.

Very nice, I just registered on your site to get a feel for the product. Very nice sit btw! It's great that you are building an ongoing feature list.

That would be a great feature addition.

Another recommendation I have is to the layout of the images with captions "Browse ShowCase" and "Search results".

Search results - Insert a space between the search filter and results just to break the page up a bit.

Search results and Browse Showcase results - Add a bit of css coding to the layout. I would like to see a rectangular box (1 or 2 rows, admin configurable), with the image on the left, with bullet points of the admins determined fields for the captions to the right of the image. Add a wrap around line or image for each result again with round edges to again break up the page.

I guess I am saying the finished product just needs some styling to get rid of the block look and feel for the end user. I know it is a database but it could look allot cleaner.

Just some suggestions.
