Prior to your upgrade to 4.0 be sure to install the Garage Plus 1.3.1 upgrade as that will get you well prepared for the Garage Plus 2.0.0 release. Currently there are no planned database updates from our 1.3.1 to 2.0.0 versions.

It means that from our 1.3.1 version for vB 3.8 to the 2.0.0 version for vB 4.0 there are no changes in the database from Garage Plus. All 1.3.1 data is still there and accessible in 2.0.0.

Okay, thank you!

I have updated to vB4 months ago and have the DTO GaragePlus 1.2.0 version installed.

I guess I haven´t update to 1.3.1 first?
Version 2.0.0 can update from 1.2.0?

It will upgrade automatically from 1.2 without issue even if running vb4. Sorry for creating any anxiety.

That has yet to be tested. We do try to make all updates compatable so I'd imagine it will work, but as I said, we have not yet tested that migration. I'll be sure to contact you when we are ready to test that on a site that is larger than our small testing sites.

Ok great, I just upgraded to 4.0 as well and would love a version of the garage plugin for it.
Mark, have you made any progress since you posted just over a week ago?

And when the garage has been ported it would be great to get the vbadvanced stuff ported to widgets for vb's own CMS.

Keep up the good work!

No progress on the upgrade yet. I'm currently tied up on a project for my day job that is due on the 23rd so I will likely not be able to make much headway until that project is completed.

Thanks for your patience. I wish that eating and sleeping was optional so I could get this off of my large to-do pile...

I've upgraded to vB4, but of course... now people are screaming that there are no garages!

I can understand the importance of your day job, as I have one too. I hope to see at least a beta version soon so I can calm these members down.

Thanks,
Jimmy

There are so many upgrades I need to do to my forum but I'm not going to do them for 3.8 and it owuld be unprofessional to upgrade without the garages being ready. I know you have a day job but I really feel like my hands are tied here.
