I finally got our ShowCase product for vB4 completed, tested, and launched last week. It shares a lot of the same interfaces with Garage/Garage Plus and as soon as I get Vendor Tools for vB4 completed I'll be wrapping up Garage Plus. Unfortunately we lost a developer a couple of months ago so I'm doing all the development work. It is progressing but taking much longer than I (and everyone else would like). I appreciate your patience while I wade through all this work.

Thanks for the update, Mark. Good to hear that it is close. It's been almost 4 months since I last used your products and it will be back to square one as far as getting momentum going by my members.

This is one of the major mods that I was waiting on before I upgraded to vB 4.0, and I am now starting the process of getting my templates setup and other plugins updated.

Yes. I just sent our Vendor Tools 2.0 (for vB4) to testing and documentation. As soon as we get that released I'll be finishing up Garage Plus for vB4.

When ready we'll be sending email to everyone that has registered on the site and has downloaded either Garage or Garage Plus.

Will there be any feature updates or new features, or is this just going to be an update that makes the garage compatible with the vB 4 template system?

There will be a Garage Plus 1.3.0 release (vb 384) and we're testing that now. There are a few new features that you'll see in Garage Plus 2.0.0 (vb4) that will come from this release. Right now they are:

- view permissions (no one, everyone, only friends) for garage display
- rework of how thumbnails are generated and displayed. We now support scale and cropping for thumbnails to make the index, browse, search, postbit pop-ups, and profile views much nicer looking
- garage view counting which enables most popular browse view


After we get these versions out (and all of our products out on vB4) we'll start adding some bigger features into Garage.
