Will DTO Garage Plus be updated to vB 4.0 ?

Mark said they will update all the scripts after VB4 has been officilly released so it will not be before next year

Okay, then perhaps I´ll wait purchasing it. Because I´m gonna update to vb 4.0 after the most off the addons I use are updated.

Once the beta is availble we will start the process of determining just what is entailed to migrate the full suite of DTO products to vB 4. We intend to be on the forefront when vB 4 goes gold.

Who know how long it will be until vB 4.0 Gold is released. vB Solutions is not hinting at any release dates. It could be next week or next year for all we can tell at this point. Rest assured that any purchase of our products made now will be supported in vB 4.0 at no extra charge so long as one has a current license for our product(s).

In all the site owners that I've spoken to the biggest concern is migrating the various plugins from vb.org that may no longer have support offered. Our products will have support so I would recommend purchasing Garage Plus and getting it installed so that your users can start building content (and subsequent SEO value for your site). It takes some time to make members aware of the new functionality and get them building out their garages. If started now you would have a large amount of content and additional SEO benefit from your site versus waiting until everything (all the plugins you use) are vB 4 ready.

From what we've heard anyone who has pre-ordered vB4 (we pre-ordered the suite) will be able to download everything middle of this month. As soon as we can download I'll install and get to work on determining what will be needed to get Garage running. I expect it will take a little time but it should be the very first product we have running on vB4 and I'll release a beta of that version of Garage to our customers that want to experiment with 4.0. Once vB4 Gold is released we should be ready to release our Gold version at or very near the same time.

The bottom line is buy Garage Plus now, get your users using it, build content, build SEO, and we'll be one of the first applications that is ready for vB4 when you are ready to migrate.

is there any news to the vb4.0 version of the garage?

I too am awaiting a release for vb4.

I currently have a version running on 3.8 that I've been using for a while and will stand by this product.

DTO plus vb4 will be awesome once they get the ball rolling =)

Im waiting as well, right now don't have plus. But the garage is the main mod preventing me from doing the upgrade even though I'm all ready to go. I have also had users want more then 1 car so I'm probably going to purchase one the vb4 version is available too.
