Why is installation by DTO required for Garage Plus? I realize it's free right now, but still I would rather install myself.

I was ready to pay for Garage Plus and Clubs and install tonight.

Can it really be that bad (difficult) that we would need "professional" installation?

The installation service isn't something that is required and its certainly easily handled using the documentation provided with the products. If you don't wish to have our team install for you just enter "none" in the ftp and admincp fields when placing your order.

Being that the install is currently offered for free, I'll be sure to get in touch if I run into problems or questions.

One more question... It says it has vBSEO support built-in. Is it better to install vBSEO first? Or install Garage Plus first? Or doesn't it even matter?

It really doesn't matter. If you have vBSEO and vBSEO Sitemap Generator installed Clubs and Garage you can do everything at once. Otherwise just refer to the SEO sections of our documentation when you have those installed and it will only take a couple of minutes.

Of the two the most important to get installed is vBSEO Sitemap Generator as having that working with clubs and garage data will get that content exposed to Google VERY quickly and improve your site's search performance.
