Default Thread Move Generating Error

I'm unable to create threads in the support areas so I'm posting the issue here.

I'm attempting to use the latest version, 1.0.3.

When I attempt to move the thread with the mod activated I receive the following error:

Quote:
Fatal error:
  • Please complete both the subject and message fields.
Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vB_DataManager_PM in [path]/includes/class_dm.php on line 810
#0 vb_error_handler(256,
  • Please complete both the subject and message fields.
This error was present when I tried to use this script on vBulletin 3.8.6 patch 1. It's still present after I've upgraded to 3.8.7.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Can you provide me with the steps to reproduce this error?

Thanks

Mark

Thanks for the quick reply.

Step1: Enable DTO Thread Move
Step 2: Select a thread to move
Step 3: Select destination forum
Step 4: Click move
Step 5: See error page

The thread is moved, but no PM is sent, and the error page is displayed.

Are you using the Move Thread option under the Thread Tools menu when viewing a thread or are you using the quick admin check box and then selecting the Move Thread option under the Moderation drop down menu (at the bottom right of the thread display)?

I'm using this method to get the error.

When I use this method there is no error, but there is no PM sent either. The thread is simply moved as if the add-on is non-existent.

The reason I asked about the 2nd option of moving is that our plugin doesn't support the quick admin use at this point. It should, however, work with the Thread Tools/Move Thread scenario without error.

I pulled down vB 3.8.7 and did a clean install along with Thread Move. In my testing I'm unable to get it to throw any errors. Given this I'm suspecting some type of conflict with another plugin. What other plugins do you have installed?

I do indeed have about a dozen plugins, however I have tried disabling all of them except DTO Thread Move, and the error is still generated.

If you select the default vB style (ie - no modified templates) and all the other plugins are disabled do you still see the error created?
