Hello
vBSEO customers and friends,
vBSEO 3.5 RC3 is now Available
The
vBSEO development team has been hard at work putting together our latest 3.5 release, Release Candidate 3. RC3 Final fixes all reported bugs since RC2 Final and core changes in
vB 4.0.2. You will now find a link for RC3 in the
http://www.vbseo.com/downloads/ area for all licensed customers who wish to test this pre-release software.
vBulletin 4.0.3 Tested!
While
vBSEO 3.5 RC3 is theoretically "Release Candidate" software, it has undergone extensive testing, both, through our own QA process as well as many many customer installations in both, vBulletin 3 series and vBulletin 4 series. In addition,
vBSEO 3.5.0 R3 has been tested against the upcoming vBulletin 4.0.3 (in Pre-release state) and we don't anticipate changes for vBulletin's 4.0.3 Final release. If any updates are required for 4.0.3 we will let everyone know.
Note: If this is your first time upgrading from anything other than RC1 or RC2, please be sure to read our prior announcement
http://www.vbseo.com/f5/vbseo-3-5-re...-1-here-39776/ for file deletions.
vBSEO 3.5 RC1 and higher use different file names and directories for a more optimal structure that matches
vB's new schema and security.
Where is 3.5 Gold?
RC3 is our last
anticipated Release Candidate build before
vBSEO 3.5 Gold. We are planning a *short* RC phase followed by the final
vBSEO 3.5 Gold release. Of course, as always, the schedule will highly depend on bug reports and problems that we may encounter during this phase.

vBSEO Sitemap 2.6 Beta 2 Released!
We have released
vBSEO Sitemap 2.6 Beta 2 publicly alongside the RC3 release. This new build adds compatibility with the new CMS URLs in vBulletin 4. 2.6 is the only version that should be run alongside vBulletin 4 for best compatibility. RC3 works correctly with sitemap 2.6 Beta 2.
The updated sitemap is compatible with both vBulletin 3 and vBulletin 4. It is available via the
http://www.vbseo.com/downloads/ area for all licensed customers.
Enjoy!
