DTO Vendor Tools 2.0.0 for vB 4 is now available! - Drive Thru Online - Support

We are proud to announce that the vBulletin 4.0x version of ShowCase is now available for download and installation for sites using vBulletin 4.0.3. In creating Vendor Tools 2.0.0 we made a few small changes.

Vendor Tools is now fully phrased.

Removed dependency on file_get_contents and use of allow_url_fopen (not recommended by hosts)

We realize it has taken us some time to release the vB 4 version, there was quite a bit of new code that had be written and we wanted to thoroughly test both in house and on some larger sites before releasing.

Vendor Tools 2.0.0 can be found in the download area of the DriveThruOnline site.

Vendor Tools 2.0.0 is ONLY for vBulletin 4.0.x is not supported on the vB 3.8 branch.

With the Vendor Tools work complete we are now working on Garage Plus, and Clubs in that order. With the lessons learned and interfaces developed for ShowCase and Vendor Tools we expect many of those to transition into our other products and therefore speed the migration of those releases.

Any documentation of the changes taken place in v2?

The changes are now Vendor Tools is fully phrased. We also removed the dependency on file_get_contents and use of allow_url_fopen. Our mail goal was to make Vendor Tools compatible with vB 4.0, once we complete the conversion for all products, only Garage Plus and Clubs remain, we will cycle back through and start adding improvements.

We always document the changes on the Welcome page of our documentation and update the sticky Release Notes thread for each product.
