I spend a fair amount of time on ThumperTalk myself and this appears to be something that they custom coded. To be honest I don't think that Clubs could be forced to support something more along these lines without some significant code work.

We have at least one customer planning to use our ShowCase product for a "trail finder" type of database but there isn't Google map integration with that type of data yet.

I'm sure something like this would be relatively easy to develop given the components we have already developed. That said we would either need to do this as a consulting engagement or find a good number of sites (10 or more) that would be interested in something like this so we could justify the time investment it would require.
